History
Tempo 3D was born out of a strong desire to consolidate and expand scientific illustration and 3D animation work in Brazil. We currently work mainly in the areas of chemistry and biochemistry, but our aim is to develop the visual communication of science in Brazil in general, reaching different audiences from different areas.
Width, height and depth are known as the three spatial dimensions, which in digital art also relate to the 3D style of representation. By adding time to these dimensions, we create animations and simulations, but we also draw parallels with physics in the space-time relationship. In this way, we not only seek to visually represent Brazilian and world science, but to strengthen the connection between science and art, as well as bringing the best of both to society.
Illustrator
I have a bachelor's and master's degree in chemistry from UFJF, where I worked with computational chemistry and gained a lot of experience in simulating biochemical systems. For about 5 years (Scientific Initiation and Master's), I was in constant contact with scientific research. Many of my initial illustrations were made using academic software such as VMD, GaussView, Discovery Studio and Avogadro, which are more related to chemical visualization.
Management
I'm an Oceanographer (UFES) and a Geoprocessing technician (IFES). For the past six years I have worked in project management and making maps, graphs and reports, which has sharpened my skills in organization, planning, critical thinking and data visualization. Since then I have developed a taste for making visually appealing maps and for always trying to represent geospatial and scientific data in the best possible way so that it can be understood by an audience that ranges from academics to laypeople.
